The Hg Foundation, supported by JPMorganChase, are funding a portfolio of programmes to support low-income young adults without degrees over the next 2 years. Our ultimate goal is that at least 70% of programme participants move into tech employment or a high-quality tech apprenticeship within 12 months of completing their programme.

Please download and complete the application form above. Completed application forms should be sent via email to aifund@hgcapital.com by no later than 9am on Monday 23rd November 2026.

FAQs

Is programmes funding only available to non-profit organisations?

What stage of maturity and development do you expect programmes to be at? Will you fund brand new or pilot programmes?

You are looking for provision in Glasgow and South West England. Does this mean our programme needs to operate in both areas?

Do you have a preferred age range for the participants on the programmes?

What is your definition of “tech employment” or “tech apprenticeships”?

What types of job roles and apprenticeship standards are in scope to focus on? Do they need to match the Labour Market Briefing research on top entry-level roles for those without degrees?

Can an organisation submit more than one programme proposal?

Can organisations apply as a consortium or partnership?

Can an organisation apply for this round if they have a current grant with The Hg Foundation or JPMorganChase or have received funding from them before?

Can organisations include costs for overheads in their programme budgets?

If a programme isn’t at a developed enough stage to apply for this round, will there be future funding opportunities?
