The Hg Foundation is delighted to announce its new Tech Advisory Board, bringing together senior leaders from across the technology and talent sectors to provide strategic insight into fast-evolving tech hiring trends and the skills and talent gap. The Advisory Board will play a key role in helping the Foundation advance its mission to widen the pipeline of underrepresented talent into high-quality tech jobs.
Drawing on expertise from global technology firms, major employers of tech talent, AI specialists, and leaders in talent acquisition and workforce development, the Board will help ensure the Foundation’s programmes remain closely aligned to employer demand and labour-market shifts. Members represent and bring experience from a range of geographies aligned with the Foundation’s focus, including the UK, Europe and North America.
Elona Mortimer-Zhika, former CEO of IRIS Software Group and Trustee of The Hg Foundation, will serve as Chair of the Tech Advisory Board. The other members of the Advisory Board include (full bios available on our website here):

AI is transforming the tech labour market at an extraordinary pace, and it is vital that those furthest from opportunity can succeed in the jobs of the future. Our Advisory Board brings together leaders who understand how technology, AI and skills are evolving, and who share a commitment to creating education and employment pathways that are open to all. I am excited to serve as Chair as we help the Foundation plan for what the labour market will look like tomorrow — and to ensure that underrepresented talent is positioned to thrive within it.
